My mom died a few weeks ago. I’m still numb and raw at the same time.…
My grandma always said there was a book in me. Well, this isn’t quite it, but I still feel the need to say something. I’m not an athlete in the true sense of the word. I never played sports and have avoided running all my life because I have exercise induced asthma. I have just had a realization, an epiphany, about how to cope with really hard emotions and experiences. I have grown and been through things that have changed the way I see life. It has been on my heart for years to share what I have learned, in hopes of bringing comfort to others. In the past year and a half, my learning has been enhanced and refined through strength training and running. This blog is a place where I hope to openly share what I have experienced and learned. I am not an expert or professional by any means, just merely a flawed human trying to live life in the best way possible. I want to share any wisdom and comfort that could help someone else.
